Diversity means people of different cultures, religions, race, and ideas all living as one and everyone accepting each other for who they are in this world. Hawaii is one of the most diverse places in the world due to types of people that step foot on the islands.  People from different walks of life come to visit Hawaii and share their own culture.  Anyone who comes to Hawaii would notice how diverse the culture is. From food all to the way we live here, our cultures are mixed and blended.

I see diversity as the same as unity, something that is needed in this world. We are all humans, we all are the same so we should learn about others. Once we learn about others and see why people do what they do, maybe problems in this world might stop. Who knows, maybe the world can finally unite.

My school in general is diverse as well. We have all different types of people. We all get along with each other, well most of the times. For me and my friends, my entire group of friends comes from all different walks of life. We all believe different things, raised in different ways, from all different ethnicities. We get along great and have no real problems with each other.

This world is full of different things. Sometimes they conflict, but once they do and it gets resolved, an understanding forms. At some point in the future, this world will find peace. But to get to that point, we as human beings must understand each other. Even if some people don’t want to, it would be okay. As long as the majority of humans that live in this world understand each other, things would be better. Who knows, once we all understand each other, we may advance all as one.
