Blizzcon 2016

This year Blizzcon (a convention that highlights a well known gaming studio, Blizzard, and holds annual tournaments) will be held at Anaheim Convention Center, it will be held on November 4th, and 5th. Blizzcon is a convention celebrating everything Blizzard, this year is the 10th anniversary of the event and the 25th anniversary of the video game company, Blizzard. Every year there are fun activities held at Blizzcon such as the movie contest, art contest, costume contest, and talent contest

Of course at this event there are many reveals that are expected about upcoming game balances and updates. Many games such as World of Warcraft, Hearthstone, Overwatch, and Heros of the Storm have many players excited about new content that may be coming to the games.

With the theme of celebrating Blizzard games, many world tournaments of Blizzard games will be held. E-sports is definitely a prominent category at Blizzcon. They will hold the Hearthstone World Championship, Wow Arena Championship, Heros of the Storm Fall Championship, Starcraft II Global Finals, and the Overwatch 2016 World Cup. Every year Blizzard holds qualifiers open to the public and after the qualifiers you get a spot Blizzcon! With so many exciting games and big name players you can expect a lot of hype matches coming out of Blizzcon 2016.

Every year for the last 10 years, Blizzard has supported the community and given people an opportunity to connect and have a good time. Whether it is meeting with old friends or making new ones, Blizzard really understands the importance of supporting their community and they do a great job of showing it each year.
