Dress Code

A reminder from the administrators at Kalani High School regarding the school dress code policy.

Students will come to school clean and well groomed in appropriate clothing to promote a positive learning environment. Administrators will discipline any student whose clothing is deemed inappropriate based on the following guidelines:

• Articles of clothing, jewelry, and accessories that contain references to drugs, alcohol, profanity, pornography, and gangs, whether explicit or implicit, are prohibited
• Footwear must be worn
• Hats, caps, visors, and sunglasses are prohibited from being worn in classroom
• Shirts must be worn at all times. An undershirt for males is not considered an appropriate shirt
• Buttocks are to be covered with appropriate clothing of adequate size and length
• Clothing must cover underwear. Swimwear is an acceptable alternative
• Tank tops must be worn to cover underwear when wearing see-through clothing
• Tank tops can be worn if in compliance with all other dress codes
