Halloween has come around for another year and the issue of what to go as has come up again. Some people have concrete ideas of what they’re gonna go as but others might need help coming up with a good costume idea.

Do-It-Yourself has been a popular trend for quite a while and there are even YouTubers dedicated to purely making DIY things. DIY is a fun and entertaining activity to participate in because you create everything yourself so why not create your own costumes?

Here are some easy DIY ideas.

Number 1: make fake blood. It’s easy to do: mix water, cornstarch, and red dye. Then, with that fake blood, get an older shirt that you don’t care about and put little holes in it, then cover the shirt in the red dye. Now you are a zombie!

Number 2: get clothes that will make duct tape stand out — anything white. Tape a line on the arms, put a line in the middle of your body and connect them. Then tape lines on the legs and connect them to the chest.

Number three: if you have a best friend or are a couple looking for an outfit together, one person wears a green shirt and the other person wears a white shirt with “ENVY” written on it. Now you are green with envy.

Number four: if you’re going with a big group, you can dress as the Spice Girls… Like cinnamon, paprika, allspice, and nutmeg.

These costumes are easy to create. All you have to do is be good at duct taping, printing, and making fake blood.
