Welcome back to school Falcons! Hope everyone had a terrific 2015 summer and is ready to get back into the books. As the school principal Mr. Mitchell Otani stated from the 2015 “Welcome Back Letter,”

In the past 50+ years, Kalani has developed a reputation for its academic program and for

its safe, nurturing environment.

At Kalani High School our students and families are our number one priority. We foster academic excellence and individual growth in an atmosphere that is challenging, respectful and caring. Our graduates have been admitted to some of the most prestigious universities in the country and are now leaders in their communities and around the world.

 

In 1958, Kalani High School opened its doors and in 2014 Kalani High School was ranked as the #1 School in the State of Hawaii and #1009 nationally reported by U.S. News & World Report.

 

Homecoming is a special event to Kalani High School. Homecoming is way for students of Kalani High School to show their school pride and school spirit.

Some upcoming homecoming events are:

  • Homecoming Night Pep Rally 6:30 – 7:30, Dance Competition, Burning of the “K”, and Food Booths on Tuesday, September 1
  • Class Competitions @ Lunch C-10 on Monday, August 31, Wednesday, September 2, and Thursday, September 3.
  • Homecoming Assembly during Advisory on Friday, September 4
  • Homecoming Game against Roosevelt @ Kaiser on Saturday, September 5

 

This year’s homecoming theme is Disney movies.

 

Some ways that you can get involved with school is to join clubs, organizations, and sport teams. Clubs and Organizations are currently recruiting members for the 2015-2016 school year.
