Maya Gregory, Reporter
Maya Gregory is a sophomore reporter for Kaleo o Kalani at Kalani High School. Being her first year practicing journalism, she enjoys building up her experience through formulating reviews for her favorite types of media: literature, film, and music. Through examining and reviewing other’s work, she likes to find the character, emotion, and beauty in all of the pieces she witnesses, allowing her to expand her style and skill. By doing so, she grows her ability to reflect on art and the importance of creating, hoping that she can use journalism as an outlet to express and vocalize topics she is passionate about.
