Nathan Tu is a sophomore at Kalani High School. He is a reporter/editor for the Ka Leo O Ka Kalani staff. He is new to journalism, having never taken a journalism class before. Nathan enjoys writing articles about the school and its community. As he is a first-year student in newswriting and only starting out in the field of journalism, he has no accomplishments so far, but he is willing to put in the effort in his articles as a step toward success. He has covered many different topics within and outside of schools. Some examples are the issue of traffic within the school or about the freshman field trips. He has also made movie reviews. He hopes by the end of the school year to enjoy journalism and continue reporting about an array of different topics and open a new path of interest for him.
