Kalani's Varsity swim and diving team wait at the gate in the Hawaiian terminal at Honolulu International Airport for their Thursday, Feb. 13 morning flight to Maui for the Swimming & Diving Hawai'i State Championship meet this weekend. The Kalani Girls' team won the OIA Championships on Jan. 25, unseating Kaiser and ending their rival's decade-long reign. Seventeen athletes will compete for gold this weekend: Mandarine Chyba-Rabeendrar, Kalani Decker, Reina Dreyer, Rayne Duhaylonsod, Gessica King, Andrew Lee, Lin Meyers, Jonah Kamakura, Tenley Reha, Aaron Sakai, Sage Minato, Taiga Sakai, Paulina Ruelas, Dylan Tran, Cienna Toyofuku , Riki Watanabe, and Abigayle Vendiola.
