Mika Lucas is a Junior at Kalani High School. She is in her first year of newswriting and is a first-year reporter for Ka Leo O Kalani. Mika enjoys finding relevant news to write about as well as writing reviews. She can often be found at work, at home, or with her friends. Outside of newswriting, she enjoys going to the beach, working, baking, and watching TV. She hopes to bring a unique and fun take to the articles she creates. She has been enjoying the time spent on newswriting so far and looks forward to what’s to come in the class.
