Honolulu police officers wave signs along Kalanianaʻole Highway in front of the school at 7;15 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 25, as part of the HPD's "Safer Roads, Together" campaign. They are working to reduce dangerous driving and traffic-related fatalities. There were 65 traffic-related deaths reported in the City and County of Honolulu so far in 2025, according to the Department.
